Additionally, the building interiors and structural design show mural and colors representing the community special cultural heritage with a contemporary attraction. The campus location with 60 acre wide is meant to initiate expansion in this developing community.
The step of designing and planning was inspired by a combined process that includes the representation of the high school students, as the most essential aspect, and also the group of society, facilities divisions and the education leadership of the district. In result, three different structures are available for the career academies of the campus. Internally activity and planning space and hands on work promotion externally are provided in all academies.
A main objective in design and planning was to safeguard the natural landscape. The site will be a focal element in the shifting landscape which is noticeable from the outlying areas and from anywhere in the downtown Albuquerque society. The campus identifies a real prosperous community center and offers a lot of communal purposes.
With dynamic classrooms to serve the changing future in curricular requirements, the campus can accommodate 3,100 students. For fulfilling the actual chances and needs of every member of the educational team and high school student, the school is really dedicated to and will carefully answer. Furthermore, lively places for anyone of any history to learn and gather together are provided by the common spaces and open campus.
The career academies at Atrisco Heritage Academy will put academic accomplishment as main subject together with giving opportunities to experience practical career through created collaboration with the community around the area and with the domestic campuses of higher education. These partnerships could be useful in providing the students a better preparation for careers and college by giving programs like running a bank in practical way.
